't Hooft 教授 (Utrecht Univ.) が全国行脚してる

ということで、来訪。

ノーベル賞物理学者のGerard 't Hooft教授(Utrecht U.) による特別講演が行われますので、お知らせ致します。
なお、この講演は日本学術振興会「外国人著名研究者招聘事業」(JSPS Award For Eminent Scientists)http://www.jsps.go.jp/j-awards/index.htmlのサポートのもとに行われるものです。

アブストラクト：
The cosmological constant is the most conspicuous example of an unnaturally small parameter in Nature. Its smallness would be natural only if we could identify a symmetry that would `protect' its value from large renormalization effects. A candidate for such a symmetry is the replacement of coordinates x by ix . This would map DeSitter space into anti-DeSitter space and back. Only the vacuum state should be invariant under such a symmetry.
